　　美国东部时间9月27日晚美国总统大选第一场电视辩论赛在霍夫斯特拉大学拉开序幕，民主党候选人希拉里和共和党候选人特朗普都针对如何为美国创造就业机会进行了辩论。两位候选人同时认同发展对外贸易是拉动经济增长的重要手段。发展贸易还需依托基础设施建设和能源领域利用，更好的开展跨洋贸易和邻国贸易。对于投资，国务卿希拉里指出，在奥巴马政府政策领导下的经济复苏计划并没有完成。

　　当涉及到能源问题时，特朗普说现在全国失业率还在继续攀升，其中一个原因归咎于美国目前失败的能源政策。 他指出，受奥巴马政府清洁能源政策的影响，目前美国本土能源公司遭到沉重打击，不少太阳能公司已宣告破产。国务卿希拉里表示，她相信未来能源的趋势是以投资创新技术、组建智能电网、开发可再生能源为基础。

　　两位候选人在税收和法规问题上存在极大争议，特朗普认为希拉里对企业加大监管力度会扼杀生产力阻止企业再投资。相反，希拉里认为特朗普政策只是维护富人利益，她想进一步为小企业简化法规，把税收更多的转嫁到富人手里。

　　福布斯报道称影响国民经济和基础建设投资的主要因素是国家的财政政策，国务卿希拉里认为，税制改革将产生额外的税收，这将稳固美国的财政稳定。特朗普则认为，美国经济复苏迹象还未显现，联邦储备银行和国内的财政政策会在根本上破坏国内经济，扼杀企业投资。

　　When it comes to job creation, both candidates suggested this evening that investing in companies and infrastructure is important. Both candidates also suggested that trade is of vital importance to the economy. Trade itself is dependent on infrastructure and the energy utilized to move goods across oceans and across the neighborhood. With respect to investing, Secretary Clinton has suggested that the economic recovery started under President Obama is not yet finished.

　　When it comes to energy, Trump says that the country is losing jobs and American’s current energy policies have been a complete disaster. He referred to current solar companies who have gone bankrupt, and how domestic energy has been hit hard by Obama Administration policies. Secretary Clinton said she believes investing in ‘innovative technologies’ smart grids and more renewables is the way to go.

　　The candidates sparred over regulations and taxes with Mr. Trump saying Clinton’s viewpoints would add significant regulations to businesses which will only stifle productivity and prevent businesses from reinvesting. Secretary Clinton, however, says that Mr. Trump’s policies only serve to better the rich and that she will streamline regulations for small businesses and raise taxes on the rich.

　　One of the unspoken issues affecting the economy and investment in infrastructure is highly dependent upon the country’s fiscal policies. Secretary Clinton believes tax reform will generate additional tax revenue which will improve the financial stability of the country. Mr. Trump, however, says that America’s economic recovery is precarious at best and that the federal reserve bank and domestic fiscal policy will completely undermine undermine the country’s domestic economy and will stifle investment.
